The couple already have one little girl Madeleine Leigh. "This was definitely a huge surprise, but we're so thankful and excited that Maddie is going to have a brother or sister," Jay says. "We're really gonna have our hands full." Baby DeMarcus is due this summer.

Gary Le Vox says, "It's probably the most really good, up-tempo stuff that maybe we've ever had pitched to us. And we wrote some really good stuff... I think it's musically at even another level."

Kenny Chesney and Tim McGraw are hooking up to tour together this summer- so does this mean that they might collaborate on a song too? Maybe, according to Kenny. He told Country Weekly that it's not definite, but certainly possible. "We haven't found the song yet. We might do a bluegrass thing."

Uh oh- Zac Efron better treat her right or he's going to end up in a song! Taylor Swift has been linked to actor Zac Efron. According to Us Weekly, they've been eating dinner together in L.A. Of course, the two could just be friends but still...everything is song fodder for Taylor!

Mindy McCreedy seems to be known more for her troubles these days than her singing career (Remember "10000 Angels" I loved that song!) Sad to see that not only is she not working on new music anymore- but she only seems to be in the news for getting in trouble. Earlier today people.com reported that police were searching for Mindy and her 5-year-old son Zander, who both disappeared Tuesday night in Florida during an apparent dispute between the troubled country singer and the court system. She later denied the reports and announced that she is 5 months pregnant with twins. Here's hoping that she can get everything together for these babies! Although the ceremony was small, and the guest list tight, Kristian Bush was of course among those friends and family on hand to for the ceremony. Hank Williams Junior has issued an apology after being yanked from Monday Night Football for making a comment on Fox and Friends that seemed to compare President Obama to Adolf Hitler. He says, "I have always been very passionate about politics and sports, and this time it got the best or worst of me. The thought of the leaders of both parties 'junkin' and 'high fivin'' on a golf course, while so many families are struggling to get by, made me boil over and make a dumb statement, and I am very sorry if it offended anyone. I would like to thank all my supporters. This was not written by some publicist."

I can't wait for Miranda Lambert's new CD, Four the Record, to come out so I'm scouring the net for any details I can find. I just read that the CD is going to features a special song...a tribute to Blake Shelton's brother Richie, who died in a car accident when Blake was 14. Miranda and Blake co-wrote "Over You," because according to Miranda, "I think maybe we had been talking about the wedding, saying, 'I wish Richie could be here.' It just kind of came to us." She tried to get Blake to record the song, but he was afraid he would be too emotional. Four the Record comes out on November 1st.

The film follows twin teenagers and their father on a perilous camp-out in an inescapable forest. On second thought...I'm a wuss when it comes to scary movies so maybe I'll just stick to seeing Trace sing. Production is underway in North Carolina.

The show, Malibu Country, is about a singer who divorces her rock star husband after he cheats on her and leaves her almost broke. She moves with her three kids from Nashville to the only asset she has left -- a beach house in Malibu. No word on when the pilot will air.

Speaking of country stars on TV...could Zac Brown be the next reality TV star? In a recent interview he hinted that a show about his family might be in the works. He says, "I think our lives in general are just pretty entertaining, or would be for most people," he said. "Getting that good content together and presenting it in a way ...and putting it out there, there's a lot of that to come." Guess we'll have to wait and see what happens...in the meantime we know we'll see him Sunday October 16th at Farm Bureau Live!

Congrats to new mom Ashton Shepherd! She gave birth to a little girl, Raden Delilah Cunningham, Friday. She joins 5-year old big brother James. Raden was born in Demopolis, AL and weighed 7lbs 7 oz and is 19 ½ inches long. In true Ashton fashion, the proud Mom says, “she’s perty!” Ashton also tweeted the happy news, saying “Hey fans friends and family BABY RADEN IS HERE!!!! :-) im hurting pretty bad but im so happy. She is beautiful! God is truly great!”

Toby Keith has a new CD coming out next month on the 24th and I just learned that the deluxe edition of "Clancy's Tavern" is going to feature something pretty cool...four live covers! Toby will be doing Waylon Jennings' "High Time (You Quit Your Lowdown Ways), Buck Owens' "Truck Drivin' Man," Three Dog Night's "Shambala" and Chuck Berry's "Memphis." The tracks were recorded live during the 2010 "Incognito Bandito" concert at New York City's Fillmore.

NBC should just rename themselves Lady A TV for the next week. Lady Antebellum will be all over the peacock network. They're doing the National Anthem before Sunday's (9/11) New York Jets-Dallas Cowboys game. This follows their performance tonight (9/9) at NFL Kickoff 2011 in Green Bay, also televised on NBC. And they're set to make their Saturday Night Live debut Oct. 1 on, yep, NBC. Not done yet...they'll be promoting the release of their new CD Own The Night, hitting stores next Tuesday (9/13), with an appearance on (yes, NBC's) Today Show.

Congratulations to Randy Houser! He got married over the long weekend in a Caribbean ceremony. Randy married Jessa Lee Yantz in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. The couple had 20 close friends and family members surrounding them at sunset when they exchanged vows that they wrote themselves.

Kim Kardashian wasn't the only one who got married this weekend...Chely Wright, country music's first openly gay singer, tied the knot with gay-rights activist Lauren Blitzer on Saturday in Connecticut, a state that allows same-sex marriages. Chely, 40, and Lauren, 30, met just a couple of weeks after Chely came out as a lesbian last year.

More details are coming out about the tragedy in Indianapolis after a stage collapsed killing 5 people and injuring more this weekend...backstage moments before it happened Sugarland's Jennifer and Kristian, along with their band members and the stage crew, were getting ready to walk out on the stage when the stage manager stage manager, Hellen Rollens, stopped them to do a quick prayer...and that may have saved their lives! Sugarland's manager Gail Gellman said, "Everybody was standing in a prayer circle getting ready to go onstage, and [as Helle] was walking down the ramp, the stage fell. So her decision to hold them for literally a minute saved every band member and crew's life." She added that while others backstage felt it was fine for the band to begin their set, it was Rollens' instincts that made the difference between life and possible death. As their rig came crashing down, Sugarland and crew ducked for cover near a wall to avoid the crushing metal. Luckily, they walked away unscathed and regrouped a little later by their tour bus. "There was no running out anywhere. No one knew what happened. It was just the moment when your eyes get big," the manager added.

Jennifer and Kristian have spoken out about the tragedy saying, "Our fans just came to see a show, and it ended in something terrible. My heart is totally broken for the families and friends of those who lost their lives. It's broken for all the people who got hurt, for the people who were scared," wrote Kristian Bush on his blog. "I thank God for every person who lifted a truss, who pushed against that metal to get it off someone; for every person who used a chair as a stretcher. I thank God for every fan and emergency responder, for everyone who ran to the trouble instead of away from it. The courage of those men and women will forever be with me."

In another statement released today, Sugarland revealed that it's in the process of "planning a private memorial in Indiana to honor those fans who died," one that will take place, however, after the families have had "time to go through their own services and memorial."

So today I was sitting in my car in the YMCA parking lot (putting off having to actually go inside and workout!) I was on my phone talking to my husband when all of a sudden I heard this bang on my car...I looked in my rear view mirror to see a little boy banging on the car trunk. The next thing I knew he had walked up to my driver's side...was banging on my window and trying to open my car door!

My husband, meanwhile, is still on the phone asking "What is going on?" The only thing I could think to say was, "I think I'm getting carjacked by a 5 year old!"

Diving in!

My husband and I were in Jamaica last week and we had a lot of fun kayaking, horse back riding, and shopping (guess which one of these activities was my idea hehe) We took a day trip to Negril and had to stop at Rick's Cafe- famous for the cliff diving. Everyone sits around having a Red Stripe watching those brave enough to take the dive.

I was not one brave enough...but my husband was!

After watching for a while he decided he was going to go for it and I was so nervous I could barely watch! He walked up the platform, gave me the thumbs up and dove in.

He landed with a thud.

The whole crowed let out a groan, feeling his pain. When he climbed out of the water and I told him this he said "Aw man, were you embarrassed?" I said "No way! I was yelling 'that's my husband' to everyone around." I don't care how he landed...he was brave enough to jump and that's all that matters!

Instruction Manual

Is it just me, or shouldn't houses come with instruction manuals?! My husband and I bought our first home about 6 months ago and we still can't figure out what some light switches go to! We finally figured out that a few in the living room go to lights outside! Makes no sense.

We were planning to paint the living room this weekend so I was prepping the walls today...when I got to the area around the fireplace I realized that the fireplace isn't painted...it's wallpapered! It's the exact same color and we just never noticed! So now we have to add wallpaper removal to our already long to-do list for the holiday weekend. Where are these so called "joys" of home ownership?!

Because of my vacation last week I'm now two weeks behind so don't tell me who went home yet...I DO know to look forward to this: Brad Paisley and Blake Shelton will perform "Don't Drink The Water" from Brad's This Is Country Music during part one of The Voice's two-part season finale tomorrow night. Blake and the rest of The Voice coaches will also cover the Rolling Stones' "You Can't Always Get What You Want" during tomorrow night's broadcast. Miranda Lambert will perform with Team Blake's Dia Frampton during Wednesday's (6/29) results show.

Wow- I totally thought they were already married- Wrong! Country Weekly just talked with Steel Magnolia and they are working on planning their wedding...maybe. “I’d like to do it next year on my birthday, July 10,” Joshua tells CountryWeekly.com while in Los Angeles to appear on Jimmy Kimmel Live! tonight (June 27).

While Meghan is sure about wanting to marry her longtime beau and singing partner, she’s not so sold on the date yet. “We were thinking about it. We’re going to see,” she says. “See, he just thinks July 10 because of his birthday and I’m going, ‘Well, do you know if it’s a Saturday? Is it a Tuesday?’ He doesn’t think about those things.”

Meghan wears a beautiful antique engagement ring that belonged to Joshua’s great grandmother, but it’s on her middle finger of her left hand instead of the usual ring finger because it’s too big.

We’re like, ‘We should just go get married. Why not?’”

It's ON! First Tim McGraw's label sued him now the country star is fighting back! Tim has filed a countersuit against Curb Records who accusing him of breach of contract. According to Billboard magazine, Tim recorded his Emotional Traffic album in 2009 and 2010 and now the label is holding the album hostage from fans as a way to make him obligated to remain under contract with them. Tim also says that their repeated release of greatest hits type packages -- six from 2006 to 2010 -- was a ploy to keep him. The original breach of contract suit filed on May 13th said that the music for the Emotional Traffic album had been recorded too early to be "topical and new."

A Saturday night out with my husband watching one of our favorite artists (Amos Lee- check him out if you haven't already) Should've been a great date night but I've been experiencing headaches for the past week and it was just getting worse. By the time we made the drive from Richmond to VB the pain was unbearable and we headed straight to the E.R. Now I've gone to the E.R. only a few times in my life and every time it ended up not being as bad as I thought...there's a distinct possibility I may be a wuss when it comes to pain. So we sat outside debating on whether to go in or just go home and try to sleep it off. We decided to go in...better to be safe than sorry. And of course the moment we signed it and sat down *poof* my headache was better. I was really kicking my wussy butt for dragging us there at one in the morning and was about to leave when my name was called back. We were stuck for the long haul now.

We met with the doc and she thought it was just a migraine (so THAT's what that feels like OUCH!) but to be on the safe side she sent me for a CT. Again, lying there kicking myself for wasting time and money on this...when around 2 they came back and said they found something "funny." Well considering it's my brain we're talking about guess I shouldn't be too surprised, It doesn't always seem to work at full capacity :)

Next step...an MRI. About 3am I went in to the machine to listen to the lovely sounds of a jack hammer in my ears...perfect for someone with a migraine, right?? When it was all done Brian and I tried to rest through the noise (and my on and off again pain) We curled up together on a tiny hospital bed sharing a pillow and a warm blanket (props to Sentara for the fresh out of the oven blankie!) Finally about 5 this morning the doc comes in and says that the MRI looks "funny" too and that I have a "ding" on my brain. Next step...body shop to hammer it out? Hey, that's what I do every time I get in a fender bender :) Guess a paint job won't cut it though so I have to go a neurologist just to make sure it's nothing (on the upside a day with McDreamy won't be too bad...cuz every neurologist has that hair, right?!)

He leaves us with this info and as it's sinking in and we're thinking..."should we be worried?" I turn to my husband and say "Well the good news is, at least they found something up there. I can stop asking where my brain is sometimes, we know it's there" And he replies, "yeah but the bad news is they found the chip I implanted in you, now my Stephanie Robot will never be complete!" It may not be a Hollywood movie punch line but it was all we needed to shake off the night and just smile.

Did you know Hillary Scott of Lady Antebellum auditioned for American Idol twice?! And the crazy people at Idol never even let her sing in front of the judges. She gets that chance on Thursday night when she, Dave Haywood and Charles Kelley perform a new song on the results show.

Now that one big wedding is over...we can focus on the upcoming I Do's of Country's big couple Miranda and Blake...but don't expect their nuptials to mean they'll live together right away. Right now Miranda has a farm a few miles down the road from Blake's home in Tishomingo, Oklahoma. And though they'll probably combine households at some point after they're married, they like having the two homes. Miranda tells USA Today Weekend, "I have a pool, so we're at my house more in the summer and his house in the winter, because it's closer to the deer lease. Eventually, we'll have our clothes in one closet." Miranda and Blake take the walk down the aisle on May 14th and if you're wondering what Blake's thoughts on the wedding are he just said, in typical Blake style "I mean, I'm getting married in a month and about to have my manhood cut, but I'm happy about it for a change. I'm ready for that part of my life."

Move over Idol- I'm loving The Voice! Mainly because Blake is a much funnier judge than any of the Idol crew and now the Queen of Country- Reba will be joining in on the fun! Reba McEntire will join The Voice as an advisor to help Blake Shelton coach his team during the NBC show's upcoming battle rounds. Also joining as advisors are Australian pop artist Sia, R&B singer Monica and music producer Adam Blackstone. The Voice will hold a second round of blind auditions on Tuesday at 9 p.m. [ET].

Action star Dwayne Johnson is going country...in a movie that is! The Rock will play singing legend Charley Pride in an upcoming bio-pic. Charley admits that he was initially surprised by the casting. But, he says, Johnson "flew down to Dallas and spent a day with me just sitting, talking recently. And when he left it was like parting with an old friend. We had such similar views on so many things."

Don't expect Taylor Swift to go the way of Lindsey Lohan or Miley Cyrus...Taylor tells Britain's "Telegraph" she's not out to project a "sexy" image, and simply wants to be genuine. "'I wouldn't wear tiny amounts of clothing in my real life so I don't think it's necessary to wear that stuff in photo shoots." Taylor calls it a "life decision," saying she enjoys wearing pretty dresses and dabbling with different styles, but, "I don't feel comfortable taking my clothes off."
Swift admits people used to try to persuade her to do something a little more risque, but "not anymore," since she's made it clear how she feels about the matter. Taylor adds that it's important to her to remain in charge of herself, which is also why she doesn't drink. She says she's concerned that if she were to overindulge she, "might come off in a way that I can't control."
